The production process of PP (polypropylene) boards mainly includes 5 core steps:​

Raw Material Preparation: Mix PP resin (main material) with additives (e.g., anti-aging agents, flame retardants) in a mixer to ensure uniform blending.​

Melting & Extrusion: Feed the mixed materials into an extruder. The extruder heats (at 180-220℃) to melt the materials, then pushes the molten PP through a die to form a continuous sheet.​

Calendering & Shaping: Pass the molten sheet through a set of calender rolls. The rolls (controlled for temperature and pressure) flatten and smooth the sheet to the target thickness.​

Cooling & Cutting: Cool the shaped sheet with water or air to solidify it. Then, use a cutting machine to trim it into standard-sized boards or custom dimensions.​

Quality Inspection: Check the boards for thickness uniformity, surface defects (e.g., scratches), and mechanical properties (e.g., impact resistance) before packaging and storage.
